The Impact Physical Therapy staff is continually recognized as a top Arizona physical therapy facility with staff trained, significant experience in various treatment options, including comprehensive physical therapy, soft tissue mobilization, ASTYM, dry needling, myofascial cupping, compression therapy, joint mobilization, and corrective exercises, with the overall goal of decreasing your pain and helping you to feel better, move better and live a happy functional life.

Elise is originally from Akron, Ohio and received her Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from Denison University. She continued her education at Duke University, where she graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2014. Elise began her career in Greenville, South Carolina, where she completed an orthopedic residency program and earned the credentials of Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She is a current fellow in training of orthopedic manual therapy and is certified in dry needling.

Elise moved to Phoenix in 2017 and has had the privilege of pursuing both clinical and academic endeavors. Her clinical practice has heavily emphasized post-operative care and return to function. She also is a current faculty member of the Franklin Pierce University Doctor of Physical Therapy program, where she manages the clinical education curriculum and assists with the musculoskeletal didactic curriculum.

In her free time, Elise enjoys traveling, yoga, and any activity outdoors. One of her favorite parts about living in Arizona is the quick accessibility to hiking and camping!

Dr. Matt is originally from Illinois, but moved to Arizona when he was 8 years old. He received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University. He then attended Franklin Pierce University in Goodyear, AZ where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Matt played a variety of sports throughout his life, and enjoys staying active through strength and conditioning. In his free time he loves to work on cars, spend time with his family, playing golf, watching the Chicago Bears, and furthering his education.

Matt is passionate about healing and empowering patients, as a dedicated Doctor of Physical Therapy committed to making a positive impact on their lives. With a focus on evidence-based practice, he strives to provide personalized care that accelerates recovery and helps individuals regain their strength, mobility, independence, and overall improved quality of life. As a compassionate listener and advocate, he firmly believes in building meaningful connections with his patients, ensuring they feel valued, understood, and supported throughout their healing journey. Dr. Brian Malone is originally from Missoula, Montana and received his Bachelor of Health Science from Carroll College where he also played football. He then attended Franklin Pierce University in Goodyear, Arizona to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Being an athlete his entire life, Brian knows the ins and outs of sport related injuries and is passionate about treating sports injuries, concussion rehabilitation, strength and conditioning training and Parkinson’s rehabilitation. He is LSVT-BIG certified to treat patients with Parkinson’s. Brian uses exercise based and research driven techniques to improve functional mobility in all patients. When Brian is not working, he enjoys hiking, golfing, lifting weights and spending time with his wife, Lauren.

Dr. Madison (Maddy) Taitano is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is passionate about treating athletic and neurologic patient populations. She was born and raised on the island of Guam, moving to the continental US to pursue a degree in Biology at the University of Portland. Upon graduating, Dr. Maddy moved to Arizona to complete her physical therapy degree at Franklin Pierce University.
